Presentations and the Flu

Had a presentation this morning. The data projector was unavailable, so I had to rush out some acetates. Two hours with a sore throat and feeling like shit is not a good way to argue academically.

My temperature is somewhere between 102 F and 104 F (I don't trust the thermometer when it says I'm supposed to be dead). I had to skip supervising a lab this afternoon, which is annoying (both money, and letting someone down), but I don't particularly want to pass this on.

However, tomorrow I'm actually covering someone else, so I can't really not go in - particularly when there's no-one else supervising. Shit.

This is hard work and not much fun.

Anthony and my Mum are also unwell. Poorly us.

On the down side (heh), Lisa's just gone to Austria for a few days for her Grandmother's birthday. Lonely...

Who's reading my blog with Galeon? I'm intrigued! I served about 1,200 hits last month, which is quite a lot considering I don't write about anything interesting!

Hope everyone is well.
