Funniest thing I've read in ages: lutefisk
Tom sez, "Just in time for the Norwegian Christmas rush: Clay Shirky's 1994 epic, 'Ode to Lutefisk'. 'Lutefisk' is an infamous Norwegian dish composed of fish soaked in lye. Clay's take on it: 'You need to drink enough aquavit so you can't tell the difference between caviar on a cracker and ketchup on a Kit-Kat with your eyes open'. My take: I never understood how Jesus fed 5,000 people with just 5 fish, until I had lutefisk."

Moonage Daydream from the recording of the Bowie concert on 1974-09-05. It's rather special. Not that it's bootlegged or anything

Progress is good on my bibliographic ontology; I'm essentially using
Protégé to write a bibliographic knowledge base to exercise the ontology as I go. Nice! Great software.
1Having bought shelves full of Bowie CDs and spent £100 on tickets for Wembley, I feel fully entitled to download some bootlegs of concerts from before I was born. Illegal? Ethical. But that's me :)
