Richard's Eventful Journey

8:45am: avoid collision at a roundabout with a taxi driver. He is convinced that giving way to the right is so last season.

8:55am: slam on brakes on Maidenhead roundabout as dim blonde in an old Fiesta decides that the left lane is the correct one to choose for the third exit. She fearlessly cuts me up on the inside, without looking, as I'm turning onto my exit (signalling, I might add).

9:01am: crawl for half a mile on the M4 as rubberneckers look at the van embedded in the woods by the road. Both occupants unhurt and standing on the hard shoulder:


9:15am: patiently drive at 15mph for the last mile or so of my journey - I am the lucky guy stuck behind a learner bus driver.

9:25am: get a good parking space for the first time this week. It's not all bad.

This post will demonstrate that this server's clock is 12 minutes slow.
