Cool features

I just noticed that downloads (at least in Safari 1.2) show up as little Safari icons with a small progress bar — I can watch the progress of my downloads on my desktop by watching the file! Cool!

I love the Mac.

I'm not impressed that I had to restart after installing though — Linux has taught me that I should only have to restart after changing the kernel, and in principle even that's not necessary. Indeed, I just installed a number of updates to core parts of my SuSE setup without missing a beat. That's nice.
