Speedreading

This is pretty amazing: a speed reader for Cory Doctorow's Eastern Standard Tribe. It flashes up each word in the novel, one by one, at a speed you can specify.

I can read comfortably at 4, with slightly effort at 5, and concentration at 6. Bizarrely, however, switch it to Forwards, max speed, and it just flows into your brain like prosaic Ribena. Amazing.
