Ireland beckons, outdoor supplies
Just had some Murphy's. By God, I missed it. When's the next conference in Dublin?
Addendum: just thought I'd plug
outdoorsuppliesuk — no affiliation at all, but they seem excellent: cheapest place in the UK for torches, knives, and all sorts of other things, and my order arrived promptly and satisfactorily. I'm sure I'll buy from them again, and I like to share good shops!

Interesting day
Well, that was good. I came in early, only to find my meeting cancelled for the second time. A conventional day of reading and thinking was pleasantly interrupted by Carey, who was up from Exeter. Talked for a couple of hours — unfortunately, Carey's blood is actually made of coffee. Two cups of filter, and I'm starting to quiver and have stomach pains. That man is amazing.
I'm thinking about writing some code. Hmmm.
Amusingly, I just went to Tesco, and saw this headline from The Sun:
Peter Andre Exclusive: Jordan and Me — I've just got to get Jordan into bed; My acorn
is really mighty oak
. Remarkable.
