Time
Office hours are crazy. I fight my way through the traffic in the morning (in order to get a parking space), do no work in the morning (because my brain isn't yet in gear), have lunch, have a short kip afterwards, then settle down to actually get some work done.By 3pm I'm actually awake and working, but I have only 2 hours before I have to go home to have dinner! Furthermore, I can't do any evening activities (sports or drinking) in Reading, because of the aforementioned dinner.
I look forward to living in my own home, when my day will begin with breakfast at 9, followed by light work (such as reading or email), then a journey in to the office around lunchtime. Decent work will be achieved from 2:30 until 7; I can then have dinner, and do something afterwards.
And I'll also be able to breathe: I'm finding it increasingly impossible to survive with both my parents smoking like chimneys, leaving the house in a miasma of smoke. God, give me clean air!
