Ads

Yes, I'm now serving ads. However:
  • There is only one per page (including the whole archive, and the front page), so it shouldn't take up much space
  • It's Google AdSense, so they're quite good ads
  • They're not very big, and they fit the colour scheme.
Any problems or opinions, please let me know.

Thanks!

It's a musical bonanza!

All at once I've received 3 CDs from Darla, which arrived from California in 9 days, and my xSkin iPod case from AllAboutTheAccessories, which was 5 days from Illinois.

Good on the USPS! It's particularly pleasing when there was a weekend in the way, they're undamaged, and it cost less than I was charged for shipping (I don't mind!).

Verdicts: the iPod skin is nice, but it just isn't quite tight enough — there's some slack at the bottom. Still, there's no alternative (it's the only skin suitable for the 40GB iPod, and no other case is like it), and it certainly does the job. For the price ($8.55 after dealnews code) it's a bargain.

I haven't listened to the CDs yet (Nightsongs and The Comeback by Stars, and Fancy Ultra-Fresh by Freezepop), but I'm sure I'll like them! Stars I cannot recommend enough.

I've also just got shipping notification for two more CDs on their way from Amazon. I just can't help it!

Samsung and the Olympics

Spotted on Gizmodo: Samsung are issuing cards to the Olympic torchbearers, getting full value out of their sponsorship.

“If approached by media, please remember the following message: ‘I am honoured to have been given the opportunity by Samsung to be a torchbearer for the Samsung Athens 2004 Olympic Torch Relay.’”

Doesn't it make you feel all warm and fuzzy about corporate sponsorship?
