Calendarclock

Calendarclock is one sweet little app. It can replace the Mac OS X system clock with a custom one, allowing you to change the font, what's displayed, etc., and also providing a cool drop-down calendar (with iCal integration). I've got it set to show a tiny calendar showing the date (“3”) and the time (“21:39”) in size 12 Lucida Grande Regular (slightly smaller than the default).

My one concern: it takes up 1.5% processor on my iBook — constantly! And that's just for the user task — I don't know how long it spends on the system's counter.

Maybe I'll give it a miss. Regrettable.

In other news, Redland has hit the next version, 0.9.17 (RC for version 1). I'm looking into packaging it as a Fink package.
