What a haul!

As today is my birthday, I eschewed bed in favour of opening some presents! Lisa, astonishingly thoughtful present-buyer that she is, got me:

• Frequency for PS2, which I've been trying to find for a year
• Some Osteospermum (Cape Daisy) seeds, as it's my favourite flower
• The Kill Bill vol. 1 soundtrack, which is awesome
• Best of all, a genuine Panama hat!

No other human being would be able to put up with my curious fascination for hats. God bless you, Lisa.

Anthony displayed similar thought, getting me William & Mary on DVD. Matt has improved my Web hosting, which I shall sort tomorrow, and several nice people have got me cards. Everything's shaping up nicely!

In addition to all this, my Daring Fireball t-shirt arrived today, and is very comfortable! Huzzah!

For the evening's entertainment this/last night (the 16th), Anthony, Susie, Lisa and I went to see I, Robot (amusingly titled “Yo, Robot” in Portuguese), which was stonking. Amusing in places, exciting, but still keeping that Asimov murder mystery feel. The robot voices were perfect. One gripe: what is it with car-sponsored sci-fi movies, eh? Yes, we know everyone in 2035 will drive an Audi, get over it.
