Apress Lisp books

Paolo Amoroso on why he has preordered the upcoming Apress Lisp books. A good justification. Another reason: Peter Siebel has had the chapters of Practical Common Lisp online for some time now, while he was writing the book, and they were invaluable to me as I was learning.

I was going to wait until they were published, then order them in at work (Ottakar's). I may reconsider, and hit Amazon instead.

A thought from I, Robot

Should I bother putting by some “vintage” Timberlands, in the event that the shoes in 2035 are rubbish?

Today I have a workshop on autonomic computing, and I'm far too tired. Humph.
