I'm really at the end of my tether now. How can Apple release a browser that will happily allow you to have fifty tabs open in multiple windows, but close without complaint when you touch Cmd-Q?

I mean, guys — Q is right next to W, the most-used key!

It's especially problematic when the history forgets tabs that are still open, meaning that once they close, they're gone.

Suggestions:

1. Make the history timeout start when the tab closes, not when it opens. For example, if mine is set to 7 days, a tab I close today after opening 2 weeks ago should disappear from the history next Tuesday, not a week ago.
2. Put a damn prompt — “Do you want to lose all of your precious tabs because of one clumsy finger-press?”.
