Bizarre iBook blue screen problem

Twice in the past couple of days I've come back to my iBook (the screen had gone to sleep) to discover a blue tint or cast to the display. Everything was shifted a bit blue, as if the calibration was awry. Unrelated to the backlight, too; it's the input to the display, seemingly.

Simply going to Display preferences, Color, then Calibrate and starting the process was enough to fix it (or maybe not even starting the process, I can't remember). The display instantly shifts back to the correct calibration.

Can the LazyWeb help me? A quick Google revealed little.
