Apress and On Lisp
Sweet… we may yet be able to get our grubby macro-stained hands on a printed copy* of Paul Graham's fine tome of Common Lisp macrology:I have only one complaint: because it won't be published by Prentice Hall, it won't match my copy of ANSI Common Lisp (a cracking book, incidentally). We will publish the book as soon as Paul Graham gives us the manuscript.
It's about time; copies of On Lisp have been selling for hundreds of dollars (to the point where £80 on a UK store seems cheap to US Lispers). There's clear demand, which I expect Apress recognise.
* Note that it is available in a variety of formats from the author… you can, of course, print it out yourself, but I'm referring to a bound, sold version!
