Wonderful inks
To a graphophile like myself, being shown
The Writing Desk is like giving a child the keys to a sweet shop. I bet you never realised that choosing
ink could be difficult!
Well, my choice was easier than I originally thought; discounting all of the wonderful bright shades left my three favourites, of which two were out of stock. £5 for 80ml of indigo. I shall have to go back later for the other two!

Diamine Indigo

Diamine Monaco Red

Diamine Prussian Blue
Gorgeous. Try out their
Ink Chooser, too!
God, how geeky.
(This, of course, is all in aid of my new Namiki Vanishing Point, which is on its way. I already bought some black Quink, but I like the best!)

Oh Amazon, why do you tempt me? Because this is a blog, and if I didn't catalogue pointless crap I'd have nothing to write, here's the salami:
Attempting to complete my Bowie collection (i.e. buying bad albums):
Never Let Me Down and
Tonight; Tricky's
Vulnerable (CD+DVD) and Belinda Carlisle's
A Woman and a Man just for the sake of it (all of these were £3.33 each!);
Blue for the Most by Abraham — a leap of faith, but it sounds like it will be interesting — and
The Best of The Mamas And The Papas (why not?); and, to cap it all off,
Streets of London by Ralph McTell. If the album is as good as the song, then I'll be very pleased.
7 CDs, £23. The equivalent on the iTMS would cost an estimated £56 (I haven't the patience to look it up), and, while more convenient now, leaves me without a high-quality physical backup. CD's — the choice of
winners.
(Apologies for embarrassing people with my music taste. I also listen to a lot of really good music, I promise!)
