After a mere four hours sleep, and a quite amazing night, I joined Anthony, Susie, Chris, and the rest of the gang in trooping into the shop before 9am. Yes, it was stock-take time again; the worst day of the year for retailers. We finally got to leave at 8:15pm. I am now quite tired.

Thanks to this handy tip, my ads now show in Firefox. In summary, I serve pages to Firefox as XHTML 1.1 Strict, with the correct content-type. Google's JavaScript doesn't work in XHTML pages for all sorts of reasons, resulting in no ads. The workaround is to embed an object containing an HTML 4 page to house the ads! Clever clever. In non-XHTML-accepting browsers, the old way is fine, so now my insidious ads appear everywhere.

Good job I don't put many in, and heavily restrict the subject matter, eh?

If I get the chance I might post a few pics from last night. Wow.
