Two-finger scrolling on my old iBook

Run the following in the Terminal:

ioreg -l | grep "W Enhanced"

If it returns "W Enhanced Trackpad" = 1, then you've got an enhanced scrolling touchpad, same as the new PowerBooks.

Go here to find out what to do. It worked for me! Remember, if you replace the system driver, backup first.

JewelBox

Thanks to Tim for pointing out JewelBox, which I otherwise would never have installed. It shows a 3D jewel case for whatever album is playing in iTunes. How cool is this?

Truly stupid

Catch-22 illustrated: you need a pair of pliers to open this pair of pliers. Remarkable.

Better yet, this concept is patent-pending. Finally, a patent application I can agree with. This "invention" is indeed nonobvious. The way holding up a senior citizen at knifepoint is nonobvious to most people.
