Obsession

I'm in serious danger of becoming a hideous combination — a meta-data junkie and a musical completist.

In my Amazon shopping cart are:

• Folkloric Feel, because Amy Millan of Stars contributes vocals
• On The Surface, a collection of Abraham EPs, because I liked the album
• Elevator Love Letter (single), and A Lot Of Little Lies For The Sake Of One Big Truth (EP), both by Stars, despite already having all the tracks bar one.

I'm also vainly trying to get hold of Dead Child Stars, a tour-only Stars EP, and The Stars Are Out Tonight, a 4-track vinyl EP. That's completist. It's also very optimistic, as they're not available, particularly not in the UK. *sigh*

I really ought to cut down on my music purchasing. More accurately, I need an upcoming birthday!

Sod's Law

Typical. I search for the cheapest copy of Eternal Sunshine — £9.99 at Sendit.com. I manage to watch about an hour of it in odd snatches. Amazon discount it to £7.97 after it wins an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

I'm finding writing lecture notes to be intolerably difficult — I just can't find enough that's meaningful enough to say. In fact, that applies to pretty much everything at the moment!
