Project page update
Despite having been cranking out the software over the last few weeks I have neglected my applications page. I still haven't added
wilbur-ext, but
CL-AJAX and my
URIQA implementation now have a home.
Next should be the tag ontology, then maybe I should head back towards FRBR… or even finish this damned paper!

CL-AJAX fix
A thousand thanks to Bob Bane, who sent me a fix for CL-AJAX's JavaScript under WebCore. Open source at its best — I thought I'd already tried the solution, so I would never have found it myself. Thanks Bob! A
new .tar.gz is winging its way to this server as I write.

The Quotable danja
A
superb post from Danny:
In one sense an RDF database isnt a standalone thing at all, its merely a cache for a little bit of the Semantic Web.
That really hammers home the idea that the Semantic Web is
one big graph, and we can grab little bits of it at a time.
There are no documents, as I sometimes tire of putting in presentations!
Maybe that's the lesson that APIs like URIQA and SPARQL teach us — “forget all about documents, you get the information you ask for”.
