Killing time

… in so many ways. The work day is over in a couple of hours, at which point I'll start doing something more interesting.

I also only have 3 more Sundays left at Ottakar's — I handed in my notice yesterday in order to free up my summer for the internship. It feels a little strange; after all, I have been working there with only one break since September 1999. It will be very odd having Sundays off.

Last night Kim and I went to “see” the Zutons. Zutons expected on stage after 11pm; support band nowhere to be seen by 10:20pm; last train from Waterloo 11:13pm. Guess what we chose? Ah well, can't be helped!

Anthony's Oxford buds are coming down for the day tomorrow, which will hopefully mean a really pleasant day in the pub. It'll probably rain. Then I'm going to try to burn through a load of mini-projects that have been displaced by my paper.

On a Lispy note, is anyone experienced with the Tech Coop's SBCL hosting? I'm intrigued, and somewhat tempted, by a globally-accessible Araneida for my experiments….
