Hosting, iTunes

I had a rather foolish evening last night. Filming on Ryan's film didn't finish until 8:20, then I gave lifts and ended up cooking dinner about 9:30. Obviously, 10pm is exactly the right time to start messing around with software and hosting, so I didn't hit the sack until 1:30am. As a result I'm knackered today, and I've got loads to do (including lecturing).

On the plus side, I finally got round to sorting out some hosting on tech.coop. The rates are very reasonable, the turnaround was incredible (logged in and hacking the same evening), and I'm pleased so far. This means I'm actually employing another one of my domains, and I've finally got a Web-facing Lisp.

Another thing I had a play with was iTunes 4.8. I'd tried importing music videos into iTunes before; the tracks played, and I could convert them to MP3s — you could even see the first frame as cover art. Version 4.8 now lets you watch the movies, which is a big improvement and a step towards a video store.

I had to install manually — it wasn't in Software Update for me.
