I just got back from my visa interview in London. It was surprisingly pleasant, took less time than I expected, and ended up with satisfying approval. I'm back home and settled already, and my appointment was only at 2:15! I'm very impressed with the Embassy staff; I've never had such a pleasant brush with bureaucracy.

Also, big congratulations to Redland and Dave Beckett — Redland is 5 today. Wow.
