First day

My first day at Tellme went well. I'm under NDA, so I won't go into specifics about what I'm doing (the tech is fascinating, though!), but it's a great environment in which to work. The kitchen facilities are good, the work environment is surprisingly conducive to work, as well as collaboration — everyone's in a giant room under coloured parasols — and the people are friendly. What more could a guy want?Well, a decent commute! Fortunately, I don't think I could beat a 2-minute walk in superb weather from the house to the light rail station, 5 minutes on a clean electric train car, and a short walk down a quiet street. “Score!”, as I've been saying recently.

This is shaping up to be a good trip! Even the work is on course….
