Guitar!
Thanks to Mike at
The Sonica Music Company I am now the proud owner of a gorgeous Kay guitar, which looks somewhat
like this (and entirely like the photo below!). Mine must be a bolt-on neck, but it plays nicely and looks
gorgeous:
I got a great deal (even using a £20 note as collateral until I take some dollars into town tomorrow), a case, and good service. Recommended.
So, this evening I ate a gorgeous steak and
played some guitar. Hurrah!
I love my Shuffle (the sound quality is amazing), and I love Gordon Biersch “Märzen”. Happy me!

Drat
I just heard
Hardcore Days & Softcore Nights by
Aqueduct… on a
Jaguar advert. It's been played on
The O.C.. (Stars have suffered the same fate.)
Can they not leave our precious alternative music alone?

Pizza at Apple
Having a friend of a friend at Apple, I just got to have a tour of the Cupertino campus, lunch at Caffé Mac, and a go at the gift shop. It was a tourist's dream — coincidentally I saw Steve Jobs getting lunch, and Jonathan Ive just walking about. That checks some geek tourism boxes!
Overwhelmed by the reality distortion field, I couldn't resist buying a 1GB Shuffle, a t-shirt, and a mug. The cashier gave me some free stickers when I asked about postcards, which was nice. I only just managed to resist buying a Mighty Mouse, and in retrospect I should have gone for it. Ah well, there goes my guitar money!
The pizza was great, by the way. They make it up how you like it, and stick it in the oven in front of you. Now
that's a company cafeteria!
