Pi!

Oddly, I ran (according to the Gmaps Pedometer) almost precisely* π miles tonight. This is around 0.7† miles further than I intended to go, and it was easy. Hurrah!

Unfortunately, someone nicked the plates off my car. Bastards. Now I have to go down to Halfords and get some more.

* For some values of “precisely”, of course!

† Or e − 2…!

Writing

I have lost the ability to do extended periods of writing, such as a thesis. At the end of each sentence, I typically hit Cmd-Tab to check for unread messages in any one of 5 applications, and I have music playing.

Die, NetNewsWire! Goodbye, Adium! Adios, David Bowie and iPod-buddies. I have to get some work done, and you're not helping. As a matter of fact, blogging isn't doing much, either.

(Then, in an hour, I have a couple of miles to run… I did promise.)
