Late nights

It's nearly 2am. I have to be in a lab full of students, in Reading, in 8 hours. I'm a little tired, but I'm actually in the mood to finish the rest of my twinql retrospective/introspective, and maybe even write some code. I've been writing Lisp all day, with a background of movies with similar themes (Pitch Black, Underworld, Dune), and getting things done… and there just aren't enough hours in the day.

I want to spend a couple of hours on my PhD, polish up and test the work I've done today, finish watching Dune, and read for an hour. That would actually take me through to sunrise, but I can't very well drive after that.

“Aren't you tired?” I was asked. Not so much. But still — it really is time to sleep.

Alpha One

Blimey. Running an airline at 19? I'm impressed.

rdfabout

Joshua Tauberer's new project is rdfabout.net.

Part of the problem is a lack of an obvious place people can turn to learn about RDF. All of the good articles are scattered, or worse yet lost in blog archives. www.w3.org/RDF is good as a reference, but not a starting place. An rdf.com would be nice, but alas…

Encouraged by the feedback I got on the article, I figured I might as well create such a website. So I did.

With a bit of luck (there's already good feedback on the mailing list) this will end up as a useful repository and republishing house of articles, tutorials, and lengthy blog posts — I really ought to get writing!
