Long time, no blog
Shannon observed that it has been a number of days since I posted anything at all. My only response is that I've been busy! So, here is a brief summary.- I've been working pretty hard. I can't summarise in public, but I'm pleased with how things are going.
- Bubba was unwell for a little while, but he's now most definitely back on form — he's headbutting my iBook right now. His most recent favourite game is to rub me with his head, then affectionately body-slam me, before getting up and doing it again. We like to wrestle, though he does have claws.
- I have been, and continue to be, a very busy bee. Tomorrow is “Edward 40-hands” at Sam's (carnage, I know it), and next week I'm off to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving, which should be great fun. Soon thereafter will be Christmas and New Year, and then all of a sudden it'll be six months since I came to Tellme! My guitar and running have suffered somewhat from the lack of time, but that's the price I've paid!
- I've spent far too much time eating out — every lunch and dinner I've eaten since I got back has been out somewhere. I had dinner twice this week with Elaina alone, and today, for example, was Liz's pre-going-to-Indonesia lunch. Oof. I must stop (a) spending and (b) eating so much!
- I'm pleased to be back. Time has warped strangely; Christmas seems so close, and September was so far away.
