Snow

It was snowing, tonight, as I raced in to Reading at quite inappropriate speed*. Talking to my mum this evening, I realised that it is from her that I get my detachment, more refined though it is in me. (It also seems, according to the weight of evidence, at least, that she provided my capacity to feel, and my reluctance to destroy.)

Life can be a challenge at times, can't it? Well, I'm here now, so I shall try to do some work. I could do with a good coffee.

* That sound you hear is my female readers frowning in unison. Don't worry, I drove — as I always do — well within my limits.
