Happy New Year

… for 5 hours and 10 minutes hence in Atlantic City; for 50 minutes ago in Tuscany; for 8 hours from now in Mountain View, and at Fibbar MaGee's in Sunnyvale; and for pretty much right now, here in England, to those around me.

May 2006 best 2005, which — by my estimation, at least! — was a pretty remarkable year.
