Heathrow, again
Once more I'm in the departure lounge. I had the world's least-painful security check — no removal of shoes, a friendly lass to chat to, and the laptop could stay in the bag! — and I have ten minutes before I have to walk to my gate. This is the first time that, despite having a return ticket for September, I have no real and definite plans to return to the UK in the near future: no holidays planned, no weddings to attend, no commitments. This, strangely, does not discomfort me as perhaps it should.
Now, I have eight minutes to reply to an email. Excuse me!
