Peace and quiet

In search of a quiet place to work, I leave my desk and head to the library. There I find two women who decided it was a great place to have a long, high-speed, full-volume conversation.

I leave the library, and come to sit outside in a courtyard. It's beautiful, but I'm not sure the enthusiastic birds are much improvement!

I understand the birds no better, by the way: the two women were speaking Chinese. (More than ‘Chinese’ I couldn't tell you.)
