Nacho, Italy

Yesterday: USA vs. Italy at Grant and Valerie's house. The match was OK, though the referreeing was a little… strict. Elaina and I also got a little shopping done. Score.

The day before: Nacho Libre. Very funny indeed, and definitely worth watching.

I'm sore and tired today. Yesterday was another 11-hour sleep, so I don't know why!

This is worth reading

This Place is Not a Place of Honor, about the efforts to mark Yucca Mountain as unsafe for the next ten thousand years. It's a bigger challenge than you might think; essentially, they're having to try to find millenial-scale cultural invariants, and represent them in such a way as to have the intended effect on the viewers thousands of years from now.
