Mixed bag

Yesterday actually ended up quite productive, despite not leaving the house until late afternoon. Some shopping, with one highlight: playing Guitar Hero at Best Buy. Nothing beats soloing through More Than A Feeling; it's actually probably more fun than playing guitar. Sweet. We also bought a stack of DVDs and a few books, and drank margaritas/mojitos in a tequila/tapas bar on Santana Row.

The evening was quite packed, too. For the second day in a row we hit the Mango Cafe on Hamilton in Palo Alto. Wonderful Jamaican food, particularly the ice cream, so we stopped by for dessert (and, as it turns out, appetisers and booze).

The Transporter was the evening movie — Elaina disliked it, I gave it a middling 3 stars — and we followed up with the first half of Euro Trip, which I was enjoying until I started to die of fatigue at 1:15am.

In other news: Quake just turned 10. Wow. I remember playing the demo on a coverdisk when I was at school. I also remember seeing it being played on an iPAQ 3630, which prompted me to get one. Good times.
