Free SIP voice application hosting

Tellme has just made available a new, SIP-only, low-traffic VoiceXML hosting option. Tellme will host your VXML voice application, which you can develop in Studio, for free. I think that's pretty cool — as the FAQ says, The combination of Asterisk and cool VoiceXML applications deployed by this program has amazing potential.

This means that you can write a voice application, put it on your Web host, and start taking calls from Gizmo and other SIP phones, all with no capital expenditure. By putting a cheap Asterisk server behind one of your phone numbers, you can access your app from a normal telephone. Awesome.

(In the interests of blindingly-obvious full disclosure, I work for Tellme. It's still cool, though!)

Oh, hell yes.

Sports Chanbara is about strengthening the international community by striking the folk of many nations with padded sticks, and being so hit in turn.
