Every time I'm forced to use Windows, I'm reminded how utterly shit it is. My old Windows XP laptop, while running Windows Update, somehow broke Windows Installer. Every single support document on how to fix this issue… doesn't.

You wouldn't believe how crippling it is having Windows Installer not work. You can't use Windows Update, which makes fixing the problem quite difficult!

Anyway, I'm now trying to use a pristine corporate ThinkPad. I can't get a wireless network popup to disappear; no matter how many times I click the little cross, it just comes right back up. Go away!
