My menu bar

To celebrate my menu bar now being half full of menu icons, here's a list of what I'm currently running.
  • Caffeine, for one-click “don't sleep or dim”. No more jiggling the mouse!
  • smcFanControl, because MacBook Pros run hot
  • Quicksilver, of course
  • iScrobbler
  • SSHKeychain
  • GeekTool
  • GroupCal, for syncing with my work calendar
  • Modem
  • PPTP VPN
  • AppleScript menu
  • Bluetooth icon
  • Displays icon
  • Airport icon
  • Volume icon
  • Battery indicator
  • Input menu
  • Fast user switching
  • MenuCalendarClock, because having to click to get the date is annoying
  • Spotlight, for the once a month that I actually use it, and to find out when it's indexing a disk that it shouldn't.
I also use QuietMBP, to stop my MBP from whining, and I just started using Witch, because Cmd-Tab occasionally freezes the window server, and this might help.

That's a lot of extensions. Here's a picture of the menu bar to demonstrate. It's probably time to prune a bit.
