Yes, an update. After a wasted Saturday, recovering from what can only be described as an apocalyptic Friday night, I was up early this morning. I actually got some FRBR work done, which was a surprise, before Sam picked me up to head to San Francisco.

Everyone else was stunningly late, so we had a few drinks and lunch/dinner at The Ramp, enjoying the incredibly funky basslines on offer. A few new faces (for me, at least), and a few familiar faces, turned up.

After this we all headed out to a sushi restaurant in town (for my third dinner) along with Anne's housemate Hayley*, which was great. An early night — Bess had a flight to catch, and Sam and I were knackered — but a really great Sunday regardless.

* Correct spelling utterly unknown.
