Bollywood in San Jose

It be late, but I be up, so here's a post!

This morning I managed to do a little shopping, picking up Liz's birthday present, as well as a couple of pairs of jeans and two tops in Old Navy (bargains, of course!). Jen, angel that she is, dropped me at Liz's around 5pm so I could help out setting up for her birthday party. I duly did, decorating a couple of rooms with her mum (who's great fun), and watching a masterpiece of interior decoration from her friends Amy and Elizabeth (and another, who was great but whose name continually slips my mind — I'm awful with names). The theme, as you might have gathered, was Bollywood; the decoration did reflect it, but the food, movie, and music certainly did.

The party itself was awesome; we watched Bride and Prejudice, which was actually very funny (and a decent film to boot!), ate some cracking catered Indian food, then danced and talked for a few hours. Great people, great music, and beer. What more could a guy ask for?

A lift home, obviously, so thanks to Michelle once again.

My one regret with these things is that it reminds me that I'm going to leave soon, and thus won't meet again many of the people that I enjoyed spending time with. It's a pity, but I suppose that it's always the case with life — everything is transient.

Anyway, I think it might be time for some sleep…!
