Sunday

Two heavy nights of drinking failed to inhibit my customary joyous Sunday morning. A little work, got photos printed. Sandwich with Jen for lunch. Coffee in Books Inc. with Elaina. Bought Marcus Aurelius's Meditations, which I enjoyed over a WinterBock in Gordon Biersch (in Palo Alto) before a pleasant dinner with Jen and her sister Lindsay. Filet mignon, soup, bread, tawny port, latte. Lovely.

Now a little guitar, and a cheerful night's sleep, before a solid day of work tomorrow. Christmas: no let-up!
