The idea of checking email on the Web is still, clearly, not entirely practical. I've been doing so since Saturday night, reading everything I could. My MacBook Pro arrived today, and I just restored from a backup, launched Mail — and I've got 317 unread mails left on my plate. Bear in mind, this is the number left after reading all of my work emails in Thunderbird and on my smartphone, and everything else I could stand to read through Gmail and my other webmail services.

I dread to think what NetNewsWire will look like — NewsGator's Web interface is absysmal, so I've not really been keeping up with my RSS feeds.
