iTerm 0.9.4 has been released. It's much snappier than the last one I tried, supports tabs and really cool bookmarks (great if you regularly connect to lots of servers), and I think its colour support is better. However, I'm now torn between it and Apple's Terminal:
  • It's still not quite as quick as Terminal; key repeat is a bit odd, and there's a tiny, tiny lag (that I can only just perceive) on every keystroke.
  • It doesn't do selection of matching parentheses (try it; in Terminal, type “((hello) world)” and try double-clicking any of the brackets).
I don't want to use two different terminal programs… perhaps I'll have to try contributing code to iTerm?
