More GeekTool hacking
I just spent a couple of hours putting together a task-tracking system. This consists of:- todo.sh for task tracking
- ical2rem, wget, iCal, and GroupCal to fetch my Exchange and Google Calendar calendars as .ics files and crunch them into Remind format (with some sed post-processing)
- cron entries to do that every hour or two
- GeekTool to show the output on my desktop.
I've got ideas about sniffing hostname to modify which tasks show up (contexts!), but I might leave that for now….
